Entrepreneur Develops Mess-Less, Space Saving, Effortless "Christmas Tree" That Travels

North Miami Beach, FL -- (ReleaseWire) -- 09/12/2017 --Finding a solution for relatives in the Virgin Islands led entrepreneur Sandy Goldman to create a Christmas tree wall decal that brings all the holiday tidings without the clean-up and hassle.

The problem for Goldman's niece and nephew was that it is not practical to have a live Christmas tree in the Virgin Islands due to the onerous cost of shipping one there. Goldman set out to find a feasible way they could enjoy trimming their own Christmas tree – one of the many joys of the holiday season – while avoiding the onerous shipping cost.

The revolutionary and clever "wall-e-tree" is a 3 ft by 6 ft, die cut, perfect Christmas tree on a removable wall decal. Once applied to your wall, you can custom decorate your tree with the 25 ft string of LED Christmas tree lights and 10 Christmas ornament balls that are included, or your very own ornaments. The kit also comes with a squeegee to smooth out the decal when it has been applied to the wall, and adhesive clips and hooks for attaching lights and ornaments.

The "wall-e-tree" takes up virtually no floor space and avoids the time and inconvenience of digging out the ol' tree, setting it up, and then taking it down to put away for the next year, or disposing of it. There are no allergens and shedding leaves or needles to clean up or for pets to chew on. Best of all, for people who must travel during the holidays, the "wall-e-tree" provides a way they can enjoy a Christmas tree in their hotel or other accommodation.

The decal depicts an actual Balsam Fir tree Goldman found on an actual Christmas tree farm – the image is 11,000 by 17,000 pixels – an impressive 1.7 gigabyte file size. When applied to the wall, it looks remarkably life-like and three dimensional. With the "wall-e-tree", you can have all the joy and merriment of a beautiful Christmas tree, but with none of the aggravation.

The "wall-e-tree" currently has a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, through which donors can acquire one of a limited number of "wall-e-tree" kits at significant savings off the suggested retail price. Once these 950 kits are sold, there are no more available for 2017. Goldman anticipates 100,000 or more kits to be available at retail in 2018.

The Kickstarter campaign, which ends on October 5, 2017, can be found at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sandygoldman/wall-e-tree.
