ETC Offers More Comprehensive Junior Programmes This Year

ETC has added 6 more activities during the evening and afternoon for students attending the Junior Programme this summer. Pupils can also take advantage of the one-day excursion to visit major cities or half-day trips for local attractions.

Bournemouth, UK -- (ReleaseWire) -- 07/22/2014 -- Between the 1st of June and 30th of August, the ETC International College provides specialised courses for anyone travelling to study English who are between ages 14 to 17. The Junior Programme is typically organized during the summer months and consists of a syllabus of 20 lessons or 15 hours of English courses per week. The lessons are held during the morning hours between 9.00 and 12.30. In case a student is unable to attend the courses during the predetermined schedule, special arrangements will be made for the afternoons.

For this summer, ETC International College has included additional activities in the Junior Programme in order to render the entire experience and stay in the UK as pleasant as possible. Students attending the Junior Programme can take advantage of the 1-day and the 1-half day excursions per week. During the 1-day trip, pupils will have the chance to visit major cities in the UK, such as London, Bath or Oxford. On the half-day excursion, students will visit local points of interests, such as the New Forest, Southampton or Winchester. Both ventures will include guided walking tours and entries to sites.

ETC strongly believes that the learning process has to be a fun and pleasant experience. As a result, they have added more activities for the afternoon and evening. In the afternoon, ETC pupils can play football or volleyball with their colleagues. Alternatively, they can choose to participate in treasure hunts or a cultural workshop. Students can also participate in the evening activities, which include Disco and DVD evening.

Students attending the Junior Courses will be provided with 3 accommodation options. The Host Family Accommodation entails that the pupil will be sharing a house with a friendly and thoroughly verified English host family. Pupils selecting the Host Family Accommodation option will benefit from ETC’s school transportation package, which includes bus and minibus services that are covering a wide area in Bournemouth.

During 29th of June to 27th of July, students can opt for the ETC Beach Residence, a supervised facility located just a 4-minute walk away from the school. The ETC Junior Residence is a housing option available between 6th of July and 3rd of August. The residence is designed to accommodate up to 3 students per room and it is located next to the school. The benefits of the residence include 24/7 on-site available staff, 24-hour reception service, free internet access, private bathroom, TV and a game lounge area.
