Fitness Life Stories Features Scott Tucker's Weight Loss Journey

Lifestyle website FitnessLifeStories.com features weight loss success Scott Tucker in the first of a series of inspirational articles.

Tampa, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/23/2014 -- FitnessLifeStories, a website and social portal that focuses on inspirational fitness features, will feature Scott Tucker’s extraordinary story of weight loss. Tucker will be the first of many personal weight loss stories on the site.

“We are so thrilled to be able to tell Scott Tucker’s story. He’s an amazing guy and a real inspiration,” says FitnessLifeStories content curator Michael MacDonald. “Because FitnessLifeStories is a social site, with users making suggestions and commenting on our pieces, it didn’t take long to figure out that transformational journeys such as Scott’s were something our readers really wanted.”

The piece, which will feature interviews with Tucker’s friends, family, and trainers, will cover the year that Tucker began to focus on weight loss. Readers will not only be able to read about Tucker’s struggles, they will also be able to watch videos, view a slideshow, and listen to the interview that Tucker gave to local public radio.

Users will also have the option to use FitnessLifeStories’s social portal to send Tucker words of encouragement as well as questions. Tucker will be online to interact with readers in the evening following the debut of his story.

“Part of what makes FitnessLifeStories so engaging is the opportunity for our readers to communicate with our writers and with the subject of our stories, such as Scott,” says MacDonald. “Scott has been so brave to share his story, and we will all get to tell him that during our Q&A session.”

Tucker, who began his journey last winter, has lost nearly one third of his total body weight.

“I’m grateful that people even want to hear about me,” says Tucker, “let alone feature me on the front page of FitnessLifeStories. My goal now is to spread my story, and to help others who might be dealing with the same things I was a year ago.”
