Homeless to Benefit from Author's Book Launch/Signing Event June 13

Atlanta, GA -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/29/2015 -- Expected End Entertainment, LLC, and EX3 Books announced today a food drive that will benefit the homeless community as part of the launch of a local writer's seventh and eighth books. The company has partnered with I Care Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that serves the Greater Atlanta homeless population, to collect canned goods and nonperishable items during the June 13 event.

I always look for opportunities to give back to the community," author C. Nathaniel Brown said. "I've worked with I Care Atlanta in the past and know they have a burden to eradicate homelessness. They can use our help collecting canned goods and nonperishable items to provide to this population."

I Care Atlanta founder Anthony Delgado said, "We currently serve about 500 families a week. Every effort helps. I appreciate what C. Nathaniel Brown and EX3 Books are doing to assist us with our vision."

The launch event is scheduled for June 13 from 3-6 p.m. at Caribbean Connection Restaurant, 2945 East West Connector in Austell (Cobb County). It will feature the release of two books – Shift Happens Then You Live: Take Control of Your Life and Win; and The 30-Day Prayer Companion. There will be a book signing, music, interviews, and photo opportunities.

"Partnering with I Care Atlanta is a perfect fit for the purpose of Shift Happens Then You Live," Brown said, "which is to help people understand that despite difficult circumstances, they can still have a fulfilled life and impact others."

In Shift Happens Then You Live, Brown uses life-applicable principles and personal stories of overcoming struggles to help people discover their passion and purpose; bounce back from significant setbacks; and take control of their success journey. The 30-Day Prayer Companion provides readers a journal with provocative questions to promote a proactive approach to life.
