Wichita, KS -- (ReleaseWire) -- 08/14/2014 --Hyspeco Inc., a full line Fluid Power Distributor of motion and control components, has been recognized by the Wichita Business Journal as “Best in Business” due to their highly effective business practices and core values which make those practices possible.
The “Best in Business” award is awarded to privately held Wichita-area companies who are recognized for revenue growth, community involvement, and marketing and product innovation. Of the fifteen finalists chosen, only five companies were given the recognition of “Best in Business”.
“The core of Hyspeco’s growth model is holding itself and its customers to high standards, what we call ‘Quality Dedication’ in the company’s list of core values,” says Ted Barney, Executive Vice President of Hyspeco. “It’s easy to have people call up and just buy parts, but we really believe that we can help customers achieve higher expectations.”
Another aspect of Hypseco’s continued growth is its aggressive expansion into the Kansas City market. “Hyspeco is fully dedicated to becoming the top parts and assemblies distributor to the manufacturing base in Kansas City,” Barney says. “It is a fractured market where leadership like what Hyspeco can provide has much room to grow.”
Human Resources Coordinator Kay Scott says she is humbled by employees’ dedication to each other and the communities they serve – a core value simply listed as “Caring/Fairness.”
“Our employees very much love to donate their time – their time, their money, their hearts – it’s a pretty beautiful thing when we watch some of the things that happen,” Scott explains. “No one does it for recognition. What they do it for is to see change and to leave the world a little better.”
Hyspeco is a full-service distributor of motion and control technologies, offering the kinds of fluid-powered components that are vital to numerous technical industries such as aerospace, food processing, transportation, manufacturing and agriculture. The Parker Hannifin distributor also designs and fabricates components in-house and works with customers who are integrating new systems.
