Bucharest, Romania -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/30/2014 -- Children are so open to imagining themselves in a story with a boy or girl who reminds them of themselves. They will find even greater enjoyment of a book which inserts them as the main character. With this new literary campaign children won't have to imagine themselves as the chief character, because their names will be inserted into a story that aligns with their hopes for adventure and beauty. A Romanian author team is seeking to bring a personalized planetary adventure with the boy who delights your soul and an enchanted garden tale with the sugar and spice girl in your circle, while also fostering their love of dogs.
The production will feature the individual name of the child you love in the story, both by name and with an inserted photo that you provide. With these things included, children are certain to connect to the story and develop a compassion toward dogs in a fun and exciting way. In addition to publishing the personalized books, the campaign team will construct a church playground for children with no financial possibilities and provide food donations for a dog shelter.
Excerpt from boy's tale, “When I Was On The Moon:”
The rocket was going up smoothly, and Max felt he was floating. Stars were shining on all sides as if they surrounded him. Suddenly the rocket turned. Max sat up in his big chair, waiting impatiently to see what would happen next. The round and yellow moon appeared before his eyes.
The rocket was slowing down and shortly it landed slowly on the surface of the Moon. The engines stopped and the round door opened. Max got off his chair filled with curiosity:
"What could there be on the Moon?"
And he headed firmly towards the door. In front of the door, sitting, as if they were waiting for him, there was a whole group of dogs. One of them who seemed to be the leader of the others was big, had ragged and sandy fur with gentle and intelligent eyes. He came slowly towards Max, wagging his tale lazily.
"Welcome to the Moon! I am Lino and these are my friends."
The girl's story will be equally well-written, as it will also include key components that cause children to love books and reading experiences.
Both versions will be available in English, Italian, French, German, Hungarian and Spanish for a limited time.
The success of this campaign will help make it possible to publish the personalized books with high quality illustrations, build a church playground in a community of need and provide food for dogs in a shelter environment.
In support of its Crowdfunding campaign, Simona Petrescu and Stirbu Maxmilian are committed to:
-Going to production with the print books
-Making the personalized books available in ebook format
-Offer the personalized books on the open marketplace in multiple languages for a limited time and then in English only
-Building a church playground for children in need
-Providing shelter dogs with food donations
-Providing all promised perks to reward supporters of the campaign
