International Academy of New Zealand Receives Positive Evaluation from Oversight Body

The International Academy of New Zealand recently underwent a government review. The resulting report gave the school high marks for commitment to students and their training.

Auckland, New Zealand -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/13/2015 -- The International Academy of New Zealand (IANZ) proudly announces receipt of positive evaluations from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), a government oversight body which performs quality assurance assessments of non-university secondary and tertiary education schools. The evaluation was performed in late 2012, and the report states that the NQZA is, "confident in the educational performance of The International Academy of New Zealand." The report went on to state that government and management were highly effective. According to the NZQA's website, it is the job of the NZQA to make certain New Zealand non-university training schools like IANZ, "are regarded as credible and robust, nationally and internationally, in order to help learners succeed in their chosen endeavors and to contribute to New Zealand society."

Praise was given to IANZ's learner achievement. The NQZA's report pointed out that prospective learners are thoroughly vetted, and that the school's counselors take care to make sure incoming learners have an interest in the field they wish to enter. Prospective learners must show an aptitude for the skills they will be learning. Additionally, the school makes sure the fields of study offered line up with strong demand in the employment market.

The IANZ was found to have an attractive campus and modern equipment. A virtual portal will become available soon so learners can access course materials and submit assignments off campus at any time. Currently, learners connect with tutors outside the classroom through Facebook and mobile phone. The report went on the say that students value the school highly by actively recommending the school to friends and family.

Mr. Exzur Peralta, Director at the IANZ said of the report, "We are very happy the NZQA were thorough in their evaluation and saw how we care about our students and their future. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where students excel and learn the skills that will contribute to a strong future of New Zealand."
