New Kids Yoga Book "Hello Bali: A Kids Yoga Island Adventure Book" Combines Fun, Exercise and Education to an Enthusiastic Response

Boston, MA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/04/2014 -- Author Giselle Shardlow and illustrator Emily Gedzyk announce the release of their new book Hello Bali: A Kids Yoga Island Adventure Book bringing children a fun way to energize their bodies while learning about Bali with their families.

In an age where more and more parents have difficult prying their children away from the television, the author and illustrator may have developed the perfect way to energize, fascinate and educate young loved ones using a timeless tradition. Enter Hello Bali: A Kids Yoga Island Adventure Book, their recently published kids yoga book, the latest in a series that has parents buzzing.

“I have always been passionate about working with children and addressing child literacy, obesity, and stress. My goal is to write stories that make reading fun,” commented Shardlow on her work. “Combined with movement, the stories thoroughly engage children as they laugh, express themselves, and stretch their imaginations.”

“Hello Bali” encourages its young readers to surf like a surfer, dance like a Balinese dancer, and sit like a monkey. Included is a list of Kids Yoga Poses, Basic Indonesian phrases, and a Parent-Teacher Guide with tips on creating a successful yoga experience. It's perfect for toddlers to preschoolers age two to five.

Like all of the Kids Yoga Stories books, the emphasis on fun, learning and interaction between parent (or teacher) and child sets the stage for it becoming a child's favorite and maybe even the start of yoga adventures for a lifetime to come.

A happy customer recently said, “I think the Hello, Bali book is a delightful way to connect geography, movement, and positive parent interactions. My daughter instantly began doing the poses as we read the book for the first time together and asked to find Bali on her globe. Then she sat with her little brother and worked on teaching him Indonesian. It is definitely our favorite Kids Yoga Stories book yet!” Amanda, Educators’ Spin On It.
