Events that he attended were good for creating new contacts, but not necessarily useful in terms of helping solve problems, generate ideas, or drive innovation.

Convinced that there must be other like-minded people seeking truly useful networking opportunities, Mitchel set out to fill this void and fill it, he intends to do so.

On Tuesday, June 30th, 2015, Mitchel and LeftMedia will be launching Moove Forward. It is a one-of-a-kind networking event for young professionals, business owners, and would-be entrepreneurs that haven't yet made the leap into owning their own businesses.

Unlike many typical networking events, this meeting will focus on opportunities to connect with forward-thinking people, of similar ages and professional backgrounds. The networking event is people who are interested in building a community, based on learning, idea-exchange, and problem-solving.

One of the biggest complaints about networking events such as breakfast clubs is the requirement to stand up and do a talk; other requirements are to bring a minimal number of referrals to the network meeting. These requirements can be off-putting and one of the many reasons why fewer people are attending these events. Mitchel looked at all the negatives of these networking events and decided to remove them and provide young people with a unique way to network in a relaxed environment.

Introducing Moove Forward – an alternative networking event to connect young people in business. Launching on the Tuesday 30th June 2015 from 6.30pm at Soup Kitchen in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Each month there will be a different theme to the evening with a special guest speaker keen to share their experience.
