LegacyStories.org Enhances Resources Available to Estate Planners with Legacy Planning Course

LegacyStories.org provides an online training course for building a library of legacy elements for individuals and families. The tools in the website describe how to use recordings, documents, Pict-Oral Memories, photos and writings in an organized way. The stored data can be customized to reach private individuals only, family, friends, and family and friends.

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/03/2014 -- LegacyStories.org, and CEO Tim Cormier are pleased to announce that they are filling a need for legacy creation assistance through the implementation of a comprehensive on-line training course to prepare estate planners and others to obtain certification as a Certified Legacy Planner (CLP). While many families see the need to capture and store memories and family life history, they may not always know how to go about the process. The CLP course facilitates the process of identifying and collecting a legacy portfolio.

Dennis Stack, Co-founder of LegacyStories.org explained to an interviewer recently, “Our training course helps teach estate planners and others who work with seniors and their families how to identify some of the elements that become part of a family history. The CLP course includes additional features which prepare the families for using the tools necessary to capture artifacts, life lessons, documents and audio files which would otherwise be lost to heirs and future generations.”

The training course consists of eleven modules. It is useful as a tool for estate planners to use with their clients. Most Baby Boomers and their parents see the value of a legacy package, but don't always know how to go about preparing and saving it. The CLP training course brings a helpful tutorial within reach of anyone interested in making the details of living history available to families, friends and the general public.

President and CEO of LegacyStories.org, Tom Cormier, explains, “Estate planners are in a unique position to remind clients that a legacy can and should be more than a financial bequest. By offering the tools to enable clients to create a legacy, the effectiveness and reputation of the estate planning professional is enhanced.”

The CLP course comes with the option of a marketing and support module. It educates estate planners, professionals in assisted living communities and hospices about capturing life experiences and memories in a cloud-based format.
