Evangelist Prophetess Susie S. Mozell - Smith was born on June 17, 1954 in Ocala, Florida to Maggie Gilreath and Thomas Scott. She attended Madison St. Elementary, Howard Academy, Howard High, Forest High, Vanguard High, Matthew Scippio Academy, Marion Community High, Central Florida Community College, Liberty University and is currently a student at Grand Canyon University, Majoring in Christian Studies. She is a retired school bus operator for Marion County School Board of Transportation, Ocala, Florida.

She is affiliated with Church of God by Faith, and is married to Evangelist Robert Smith Jr. of Tifton, Georgia. Together, they have nine children, and one deceased child.
