The Glyde Hand Truck will require the user to form new habits and perform tasks in a new safer and easier way. To properly use the Glyde system, the user should have at least 100 pounds loaded on the hand truck. It only takes one hand to release the automatic gas spring to deployment. Proper body form is required to ensure safe use of the Glyde. Once the Glyde tread crawlers have been fully lowered, carefully move the hand truck wheel toward the edge of the first step. Then ease the wheels over the step and allow the belt tread to engage with the stair.
Magline built the Glyde with high-quality parts throughout the system. To ensure a long and safe life, a weekly inspection is recommended. The inspector should check tread wear, tread tension, all bolts connecting extension mechanism to frame, braking, both gas springs, and frame and baseplate should be checked for cracks.
