Manchester, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/18/2015 -- A popular Manchester Airport Car Parking Comparison site has said they are totally shocked by Ryanair and their refusal to let a sick child board their flight. On the 7th March 2015, a ten-year-old boy who needed a life-saving organ transplant was told by Madrid's Hospital La Paz they had a liver and kidney available. They were told they needed to get to the hospital straight away. After hearing the good news, they rushed to Gran Canaria's Airport. However, heartless Ryanair refused the boy and his parents permission to board the flight.

The parents, who had been through hell and back arrived at the airport at 3pm for the 4.50pm flight. However, Ryanair told the parents they could not board the RYR2012 flight to the capital, due to the proximity to the departure. The parents explained the urgency, but they were still refused to board the flight for the urgent life-saving operation.

A Ryanair spokesman told MailOnline: 'We have looked into this matter with our handling agent at Las Palmas and, unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate this family onto our flight as it was too close to the departure time. We offered full assistance to the family regarding their flight requirements.'

Thanks to Air Europa who care about their customers and do not treat their customers like Jeremy Clarkson treats his team when his dinner is late; the parents boarded a flight one and half hours later. They arrived in time for their son to have the life-saving operation.

It was only this week that Ryanair held a big publicity campaign to remove all the negativity about their airline and the service they provide, but no matter how much money they spend it seems they cannot get away from the bad press they receive.
