About Mary Sabo
Mary ‘s desire to help was and is heavily influenced by her own personal struggles. Performing onstage in musicals and live theater all her life, she graduated with a B.A. in Theater Performance from Marymount Manhattan and went on auditions trying to break into show business. Living with severe anxiety all her life, she fell into a pattern of destructive behaviors fueled by an alcoholic addiction. Drinking before auditions to quell her anxiety she hit bottom emotionally, spiritually and physically and decided to get help. Today, at 28 years old she has been sober for the majority of her twenties. Realizing this gift of a second chance, she wanted to help others receive that opportunity as well. After getting and staying sober, she applied and put herself through graduate school, yoga teacher training and life coach training.

While Ms. Sabo has already invested a lot of time, energy and money into launching her business she’s reached her limits and can extend past them without the expertise and guidance of a mentor. Kendrick Shope can be that mentor if only Ms. Sabo can afford it. The financial challenge is as simple as it is frustrating; She’s got the opportunity of a lifetime but doesn’t have the funds necessary to work with Ms. Shope, which is what led her to launch her crowdfunding project.

All funds raised will go directly towards Mary’s tuition to work with Kendrick. She is positive that the results of working with Ms. Shope will allow her to reach out to the masses with a message of hope and inspiration. Mary wants to connect with those who desperately need to know they are not alone in their stories of hitting bottom or taking a different direction in life.
