Matt brings to the table extensive knowledge of aircraft in the rotor wing sector, especially with Bell, Sikorsky, and Eurocopter helicopters. He brings over twelve years of experience with logistics and the material management of aviation and related supply chain management tasks for fixed and rotor wing items.
Prior to his arrival at AeroBase Group, Matt was a buyer for President Airways (Blackwater Aviation), which was later acquired by AAR Airlift. With Presidential Airways, Matt negotiated with outside vendors in order to obtain the best value based on optimum pricing and availability, and showed himself capable of handling large volumes of purchasing requests under very strict deadlines. He also proved himself willing and able to partner with the customer in expediting and tracking part shipments from warehouse to destination, resolving any shipping or supplier issues promptly and efficiently.
He then moved on to Satcom Direct, where he supported customers’ installation and provisioning of corporate and military aircraft. Satcom Direct provides satellite communication for both private and military aircraft via various satellite networks, and Matt was responsible for enabling those services on the aircraft by interacting directly with the sales team and the customer via telephone and email. He successfully activated and provisioned voice, fax, data, and Internet services for both corporate and government/military aircraft, working directly with OEMs when necessary to ensure successful activation, provisioning, and testing to ensure the customer’s full satisfaction with the product and service provided.
Matt is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2004. He is very articulate, adapts quickly to changing workplace circumstances, and has the experience necessary to ensure your account with AeroBase Group is handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
