The house received this prestigious designation in 2013, after a landmark assessment done by Ostashay & Associates Consulting. The house has been referred to by many names, such as the Witches House and the Spadena House. Originally built in the 1920's as a movie studio in Culver City, the Witches House was later moved to Beverly Hills, where current owner Michael Libow is now the caretaker of the Witch.

"The Witch's House which generates about 4,000 children within 4 hours on Halloween night to trick-or-treat in front of my home. There are police barricades erected to control traffic on that night each year." says Michael. Over the years Michael has not only maintained the house, but added various improvements as well.
