Mike & Stacy Randolph Seeks $15,000 in Crowdfunding for Fight Cancer T-Shirts

This husband and wife team wants everyone affected by cancer to be able to spread awareness, on a shirt. They have plans to increase production and distribution of strong and inspiring shirts, hoodies & hats for those battling cancer as well as their family and friends. They are one of few companies that offer every cancer ribbon (and if they don't have yours, they'll add it for free).

Phoenix, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/29/2014 -- After Mike Randolph's mother died of liver cancer 3 years ago (he also lost a grandmother to cervical cancer and an aunt to Hodgkin’s Lymphoma), he tried his best to make an impact - to help, somehow. He tried to do something simple, like buy a shirt with a liver cancer message to remember his mom, but couldn’t find one that he liked. He looked some more and discovered that there weren't a lot of options for cancer awareness shirts for people with less prevalent types of cancer. The duo created their first three cancer awareness designs and put them on the web. There was an immediate, positive response and FightCancerShirts.com was born. They now have about 25 designs and are pushing the limits of their current operations capabilities. The couple donates 10% of their profits to Cancer Research.

The funds they seek will enable expansion of their business, including rolling out a new, professionally built website which will give them more flexibility while continuing to provide a superior customer experience. Perhaps even more important is the need to expand the production facility itself, through carrying an expanded inventory and streamlining operations so they can deliver customer orders faster.

Crowdfunding is sought to make their expansion happen with eye-catching perks available to crowdfunding backers at every level with everything from cancer awareness stickers and wristbands to comfortable casual attire as well as whole collections of custom made awareness gear. Backers will also receive online recognition for helping this small business grow.

This crowdfunding campaign ends on October 20, 2014.

About Mike & Stacy Randolph
Over the last two years, they have made some significant changes in their lives. They started eating better, exercising and paying attention to where and how food is made (the importance of which they learned during his mom's battle with Liver Cancer). Mike left his 24-year career in corporate America in search of more meaningful employment. It's been slow, steady work, but they are proud of the result. Along the way, they've met some amazing people with incredible stories of love, loss and resilience. It has been a life perspective-changing journey for both of them. One they are glad they took.
