New Christmas Carols Sheet Music Book Revives Tradition

Hermosa Beach, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/20/2014 -- As the season of cheer and giving approaches, many families are starting to prepare for the upcoming Christmas season. The holidays have always been about celebrating and recognizing traditions that have been passed on from generation to generation. When it comes to Christmas, churches, choirs and campfires, Christmas carols are always a common and traditional treat.

Many of today’s youth are unfamiliar with these decades old carols - songs of praise that have been loved and sung through the ages. Families have always gathered in places of worship, in community programs and around the fireplace to hear and enjoy the group singing of carols. But currently, it is only today’s parents and grandparents who are familiar with these beautiful melodies. But a company is bringing back the love for carols and through a book that has compiled hundreds of favorite Christmas carols into one book.

Ironpower Publishing has recently released a comprehensive Christmas sheet music for piano book that contains the lyrics and tunes of many Christmas carols songs. The book, which has been made available for purchase online via Amazon’s website, has well over four hundred different titles of Christmas songs complete with their lyrics and piano sheet music arrangements.

Richard Hargreaves, author of the book, 400+ Christmas Carols Book - Sheet Music for Piano says, “We have put together this special book for those who have loved Christmas carols since they were little and believe in the message each song brings. While it is definitely perfect for adults and young adults who have grown up loving, singing and playing these songs, it is also our belief that through sharing the carols and the music of praise, we can influence a new generation to continue with the time old tradition.”

About The Christmas Carols Book
The Christmas Carols Book contains some of the most classical and earliest known holiday and praise music from musical geniuses like Mozart, Bach, Mendelsohn, Haydn and Handel. The book contains rare musical compositions that until now were no longer available in print.

However, the book does not focus on classics alone. Many additions contain the lyrics and chords from well-loved children’s carols but with a more contemporary arrangement without losing the spirit and reverence that the old songs embodied. Some of the most well-known Christmas carol songs are definitely present which includes “Jingle Bells,” “Silent Night,” “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” “Auld Lang Syne,” “Deck the Halls,” “O Come O Come Emmanuel,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem.” “O Holy Night,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”

Among the many genres of music that have come and gone throughout the years and centuries, very few have endured for so long and still continue to be sung by families, in the same way that Christmas carols have. Despite the fact that the Christmas Carol song sheet is designed for persons who are more familiar with classic and modern carols, the book is still a very good resource for pianists and other individuals who want to get into the spirit of the holidays and learn more about the different carol hymns and songs.
