3rd China Aerospace Manufacturing Summit

Shanghai, China -- (ReleaseWire) -- 11/14/2011 --Followed by the success of the last two Aerospace Manufacturing event, the 3rd China Aerospace Manufacturing Summit held in late Sept, 2011 was another highly-anticipated, influential industry event. The joint conference of the five provincial aeronautic societies from Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Sichuan and Shaanxi started in early 1990’s. It had 25 years of long history and was only held once every two years.

This year’s event, again, attracted 200+ industry experts from all over the world. The director general of COSTIND- Jiangxi province, Mr. Xianshu LI; deputy chairman of Jiangxi Provincial Science Society, Mr. Chunping LIANG all participated at the event.

The first day of 3rd China Aerospace Manufacturing Summit was opened with a welcome address by honorary advisor of Jiangxi Provincial aeronautic society, Mr. Shi PING. The much awaited keynote speaker Mr. Pedro Fernandez RODRIGUEZ from Airbus Beijing Engineering Center started the conference with insight into the integrating manufacturing process. The morning speakers included Mr. Zhize ZENG from NDRC, Mr. Zemin YU from COMAC Assembly Center, and Mr.Zeyin CHENG with AVIC Xi’an. Themes that came out of these presentations were the analysis of the strategic emerging industry development plan, planning and new base construction of manufacturing and final assembly center of COMAC and the industrialization development of MA series aircrafts.

Afternoon session featured Mr. Long SHAO from Embracer presenting the future development of regional aviation market and embracer’s market strategy in China. Followed by that, Mr. Tony LIU from Bombardier Aerospace, Mr. David DOWSE from Shell Aviation, Mr. Calum URQUHART from Atlas COPCO and Mr. Xianpeng XIONG from AVIC General Aircraft all presented to the Chinese delegates regarding their valuable experience and insights regarding the aviation industry.

The second day of the event started with the presentation from Mr. Yang SHEN from CAAC with the topic of the open of low-attitude freedom in China& General Aviation airworthiness development. Subsequently, Mr. Yan WANG from Beijing Aviation Manufacturing Engineering Institute delivered to audience his idea of digital controlled machine tools and the workshop digital technology.

During the two day conference, organize committee layout about 100 pair of one to one meetings to over 30 exclusive sponsor delegates, providing them excellent opportunities to get to know the potential buyers from the local China Aviation Company with zero range.
