With the launch of Silent Giant’s “Firetruck Race!” app, those of us who have dreamed of being a firefighter can download a good and challenging strategy game directly onto their iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

Las Vegas, NV -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/27/2012 --Like the excitement and adrenaline rush of racing against time? Or are you dreaming of becoming a firefighting hero? Then Firetruck Race is the game for you! Last February 3, 2012, Silent Giant unveiled its first of many amazing games, Firetruck Race. Simulation and racing fans will find a lot to enjoy in this truck driving simulation. The objective of the game is that you must race against time, or another opponent, to collect fire gems and to save the landmark building that has caught on fire. So, what does Firetruck Race have in store for firefighting fanatics to get really psyched? Let’s dig it.

How the Game Works
Firetruck Race is a quality game that will have you on the edge of your seat! The concept of the game is pretty simple. You have to navigate your way through the maze collecting fire gems along the way! Find the landmark building that is on fire at the end of the maze and your firefighters will automatically go to work to put out the fire. Now here’s the catch. After each race, you can acquire new coins that you can use to buy and upgrade your character. Thru the upgrade, you can increase the character’s speed and ability.

Features
The game’s platform comes with 5 different playable characters (fire trucks) all from different eras. There are three different cities to choose from, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City so you can really get the feeling that you are fighting fire in reality!

To make the game a lot more fun and exciting, Maxim Holdings is planning to boost the characters’ speed or water capacity for a single round when they have their expansion around the 3rd week of February.
