Luxury riverside hotel to offer special events and menus for the holidays

Bangkok, Thailand -- (ReleaseWire) -- 05/02/2012 --The Peninsula Bangkok hotel (http://www.peninsula.com/Bangkok/en/default.aspx) has a wonderful line-up of culinary events planned for Easter and the traditional Thai New Year of Songkran, with activities and entertainment for the whole family.

On Easter Sunday, 8 April 2012 a sumptuous Easter Brunch Buffet will be served at the River Cafe and Terrace from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm, while The Lobby’s Easter Afternoon Tea is on from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, featuring live entertainment. Both events will have plenty of fun activities for children, an Easter egg hunt plus giveaways.

The Easter Brunch Buffet is priced at THB 2,000 net per adult and THB 1,000 net per child under 12 years of age. The Easter Afternoon Tea is priced at THB 1,200 net per adult, while for the youngsters there is a Kids’ Buffet for THB 600 net per child under 12 years of age.

With the annual Songkran holiday falling on 13 to 15 April, The Peninsula Bangkok will offer special set menus at Thiptara Thai restaurant and The Lobby between 1 and 15 April 2012. At Thiptara, the Songkran Set Menu is priced at THB 1,600 plus tax and service charge per person and the Khao Chae Set Menu at THB 420 plus tax and service charge per person. Both menus will be available for dinner between 6:00 pm and 10:30 pm.
