New Co-Working and Co-Living Hub Takes Freelancers and Entrepreneurs to Exotic Locations

Prahova, Romania -- (ReleaseWire) -- 01/09/2014 --Following the location independence trend, made popular by recent self-proclaimed digital nomads, a new European startup named nomadicHUB brings entrepreneurs, freelancers and remote employees together, to work and live in a rented villa in an exotic location. Instead of choosing one fixed location the startup organizes month-long events in different locations and with different themes.

More like a series of events than a fixed co-working hub, nomadicHUB tries to break the monotony of working in a conventional office by offering the alternative of working in exotic locations like Tenerife, Costa Rica or Egypt. Every other month the team finds an interesting or exotic location with Internet where location independents can work, network and have fun for two weeks or one month.

The concept is to help busy entrepreneurs and freelancers who have the mobility, at least for two weeks, and the budget, to travel more and meet new business contacts or make new like-minded friends. Living and working together in a new and exciting location with all the basic necessities taken care of is, in the view of the founders, a good way to network and explore a new destination while taking care of business.

The concept of co-working and co-living companies is that the team takes care of finding the best villa, makes sure there is a suitable Internet connection, organizes trips, prepares breakfast, offers local support and even helps in finding the best airfare. Most hubs are targeted to professionals who can work from anywhere in the world as long as they have an Internet connection and a laptop.

NomadicHUB will organize the first event in February and March on the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands where the temperature is been known to be over 23 degrees Celsius even in the coldest winter months. Tenerife offers a wide array of choices for the seasoned traveller and is easily reachable from most European countries. Next announced events are in Egypt, Costa Rica and Austria, but the team plans more getaways for 2014.

With prices starting from 490 euros for 2 weeks or 1100 euros for a whole month, digital nomads can opt for a single room or a shared room and access to multiple working spaces in a luxurious villa. A whole other array of services is included in the price.

Built around the needs of location independents who love to travel, but cannot take more than a week off, co-working and co-living hubs might replace many of the traditional offices or provide a more interesting alternative to working from home.
