Elmwood Park, NJ -- (ReleaseWire) -- 01/20/2014 --John Wm. Macy’s CheeseSticks announces the addition of its twice-baked, all-natural Garlic Parmesan CheeseCrisps to its popular line of gourmet appetizers. The new CheeseCrisps will be officially introduced at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco January 19 through 21, 2014, where the Company will exhibit is full line of specialty baked snacks and appetizers.

Garlic Parmesan CheeseCrisps are bite-sized, cracker-shaped savory snacks made by laminating multiple thin layers of fresh sourdough with layers of shredded aged Parmesan cheese, butter and garlic. The multi-layered dough is cut into squares and baked twice for outstanding flavor and a unique, extra-crispy texture that the Company calls “the perfect crunch…!” CheeseCrisps are made with premium-quality natural ingredients, are GMO free and contain no artificial flavorings, dyes or preservatives.

“We are very pleased to introduce Garlic Parmesan, our first new CheeseCrisps variety in eight years,” said John Macy, founder and president of John Wm. Macy’s CheeseSticks. “With many garlic-flavored snacks already in the marketplace, it took us a little extra time to find the right balance of flavorful aged Parmesan cheese, fresh sourdough, creamery butter, crushed garlic and garlic oil to produce a light, crunchy snack that we think will have wide appeal.”

Garlic Parmesan CheeseCrisps make wonderful cocktail appetizers and party hors d'oeuvres. Great for healthy snacking right out of the box, served with a fresh salad (on the side or in place of croutons) or steaming bowl of soup, or as the perfect complement to your favorite beverage, Garlic Parmesan CheeseCrisps are sure to provide unforgettable flavor and “the perfect crunch…!” Garlic Parmesan CheeseCrisps may also be enjoyed with dips, spreads or salsas. Substitute crumbled Garlic Parmesan CheeseCrisps for breadcrumbs to turn any recipe into a gourmet delicacy.
