Focus Capital Partners today announced that J. Michael Wing and Michael S. Seen have been appointed vice chairmen of the firm, effective immediately.

Hong Kong -- (ReleaseWire) -- 01/23/2014 --Both Wing and Seen will continue to have global oversight of the securities business. Wing will remain chairman of Focus Capital Partners Asia and Seen will remain co-chief executive officer of Focus Capital Partners International. As firm vice chairmen, they join John S. Woo, who was appointed to that role since the inception of the company.

Mike Wing joined the firm as head of Equity Capital Markets in Hong Kong and later he was named a partner. After this period Mike became the global head of Equity Capital Markets and moved to Singapore and he became the co-head of the Equities Division moving back to Hong Kong. After a short period in this role, he was named global co-head of the securities business based in Hong Kong. Finally he was named chairman of Focus Capital Partners Asia and since that time has been based in Hong Kong.

Michael Seen joined the firm in the Fixed Income Division in Hong Kong and he also became a partner. He was named global co-head of the securities business. He has been a leading force behind the firm’s expansion into emerging markets.
