This is the world's first crowdfunded monument of love. Everyone can be a founding member and leave a lovemark in history! A unique way to express love this Valentine's Day!

New York, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 01/24/2014 --People throughout history, desiring to express their love, have left their love messages and love marks everywhere: carved in trees, written on benches, locked to a bridge.

So, the Lovemark Team decided to give everyone a unique canvas to write their own love message on, and leave their own love mark. The canvas they chose is a love cube, where people can inscribe their own personal love message. Then the team gave the idea a twist. They'll collect all the messages, written in different languages, inscribe them on the love cubes, and then use them as the building blocks to create a unique global monument of Love: The Lovemark! The world’s first crowdfunded monument to celebrate love.

The love cube is the monument’s actual building block. Once this campaign is successfully completed, the Lovemark Team will contact all backers and ask them to provide their personal message that will be inscribed on the actual love cube on the monument.

Cities around the world will be applying to host The Lovemark. The final location of The Lovemark will be decided by the contributors to the campaign through a voting process out of a shortlist of host cities.

Funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover materials, fabrication, design, construction, administrative fees, charity donation, and Indiegogo & PayPal fees.

This campaign will only receive funds if at least $175,000USD is raised by its deadline. Funding duration: December 16, 2013 - February 15, 2014 (11:59pm PT).
