The remote region of Uttarakhand, India will be visited along with its people, customs, and the flash flood of June, 2013. This documentary pays special attention to the women and their roles.

Rahul’s goal of $50,000 USD will be used for principal, digital videography on location, and subsequent editing and color-correction in Mumbai, India, formatted release of the documentary film, whose working title is: "The Women Of Central Himalaya - UTTARAKHAND".  

Additional transfer, editing, color-correction and transcoding will be performed for the USA-formatted release of the documentary film.

The funding includes production, post-production editing, color-correction, and transcoding of the HD-BetaCam digital Master program tapes, for completion of the domestic India release. 

The funding includes sending of raw digital HD footage to USA for editing, voice-over, music, color-correction and transcoding of the digital Master program segments, for completion of the domestic USA version.
