New Mariposa DR Classroom: Ogden O'Reilly-Hyland

New York, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 02/17/2014 --Joelle O’Reilly-Hyland, the founder of Ounavarra Foundation sponsors another room at Mariposa DR’s Mariposa Center in the Dominican Republic. Joelle with has supported girl causes around the world though the Ounavarra Foundation. Now it has sponsored another room that helps benefit girls in the Dominican Republic.

Joelle funds the academic classroom under the name of one of her sons: Ogden O’Reilly-Hyland. Ogden’s name is written on a plaque and the room tied to a local educator name Paulina Perez. Paulina Perez is the director of Puerto Cabarete Public School and works hard to improve the quality of local education. Her daughter Mariolis is a Mariposa, and the whole family has been actively involved in the Mariposa DR Foundation for many years. Ogden O'Reilly-Hyland understands the value of empowerment and the importance of girls education. He has been involved with Mariposa since they first secured the land to make this vision a reality, and is proud to be a part of it from the cocoon.

Joelle O'Reilly-Hyland is a philanthropist whose main focus is in supporting girls’ education and empowerment around the world. Joelle is a regular speaker on topics about the girl effect as she is passionate in supporting female educational causes around the world. Her latest donation is generally aimed to supply the resources needed in building an academic classrooms in the Dominican Republic. There is one named after each her children, Louisa, Ogden, and Oliver, and each is associated with a local educator or icon.
