PDP Believes Children's Books Author Randa Handler Is Inspiring Tolerance

Bryan, TX -- (ReleaseWire) -- 02/25/2014 --Premier Digital applauds their children's books Author/Illustrator Randa Handler on her mission of inspiring appreciation of diversity in children! "We agree with Randa’s message and like her believe that instilling tolerance, early during childhood creates better adults. We wish her great success with her crowdfunding campaign to donate hardcover copies of her books!" says Premier’s Hutch Morton. In 2013, Premier Digital Publishing published five of Randa‘s books as ebooks all highlighted by her creative special touch full of whimsy to relay real life concepts and instill in kids appreciation of individual differences! Two installments in her much anticipated Cubbie Blue series populated with multi-ethnic and multi-cultural characters were released fittingly on UN DAY. Book 1 sets the stage for the series about the adventures of three boys & their special tiny friend, Cubbie Blue and his even tinier dog, Dot, while Book 2 follows the kids as they learn how to deal with a blind friend. “We have to teach kids acceptance of others early on! What better way than with books that are fun and not preachy,” Handler said.

The feedback is in and the ebooks are still getting rave reviews from parents, kids and teachers. Many have requested a paper version to share in schools. “I did not anticipate that most teachers and kids still like to leaf through the pages of a book! I thought going digital was it,” shares Handler. “We did not budget for the printing of hardcover copies of all five books at this stage. We will print 2 of the books to start as limited editions; ‘If I Were King’ eISBN 978-1-62467-070-1& ‘The Boy Who Spoke To God eISBN 978-1-62467-237-8.” And, we’re happy that Randa decided to launch a funding campaign to brand, print and donate as many copies as possible. Early Reader school teachers can send in their requests for free books and be added to our growing list,” adds Italia Gandolfo Randa’s agent. “I’m hoping the people out there who endorse my message of tolerance and care about promoting a society that is civil and accepting of everyone will donate to the campaign and help us send free copies to hundreds of kids and teachers!” Handler states.

‘If I Were King’, Mom's Choice Award 2013 Winner/Silver, is about a feisty zebra’s self discovery and quest to find true friendships.

"I appreciate how it teaches valuable lessons about self-awareness and individuality in an easy-to-read animal tale. I definitely recommend this book to any parent or educator," posts Hope, an Elementary School Teacher/Portland, OR.

‘The Boy Who Spoke to God’ is not a religious book. Its mission is to introduce kids to the multiplicity of beliefs out there in order to help them keep an open accepting perspective. “Who didn’t wonder as a kid what God looks like? Yes, I went there too! I'm so touched that some have likened my message in it to Mandela’s!” adds Handler.

"Her successful books are dedicated to writing and illustrating children's books that try to encompass multiracial characters to instill, in her early readers, acceptance and tolerance of diversity. This well-told tale, beautifully illustrated, will appeal to all children and will at least introduce the concept of the interrelatedness of all peoples. Highly recommended" - Grady Harp, TOP 50 Amazon Reviewer

"The Boy Who Spoke to God, teaches that despite differences in religions, God is the God of everyone, and children will understand this important lesson." Dr. Israel Drazin.

The international media has picked up Randa’s story! Hopefully some attention will focus on her campaign to push forward! Randa Handler's background includes being an international journalist, publicist and publisher. Her publishing efforts launched an educational series of children’s books that are still being used as ‘lesson plans’ by elementary school teachers. To Donate:
