Oradell, NJ -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/04/2014 --Burns and Roe Enterprises, Inc., a leading engineering design firm, announced today it has been awarded a contract from Telemenia Power Stations to provide engineering services for a 376 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant near Songon-Dagbe.

Under this contract, Burns and Roe will be the engineering contractor for the mechanical, instrumentation and controls, and field engineering oversight. The project consist of a multiphase installation and test of triple fuel 376 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. The power plant will be built in 3 stages:

Stage 1 – first 126MW GE F9E gas turbine to be delivered and in commercial operation in 20 months.
Stage 2 – second 126MW GE F9E gas turbine to be delivered and in commercial operation in 24 months.
Stage 3 – comprising the combine cycle balance of plant with two heat recovery steam generators feeding a single steam turbine with a gross generation of 135 to 150 MW, to be delivered in 36 months.
