Science Factoreal Launches Fundraiser for Helping Children Gain Insight Into the World Around Them

Los Angeles, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 03/25/2014 --Science Factoreal, the fortnightly magazine dedicated to helping children develop an in-depth knowledge and curiosity about all things science-related, is pleased to announce that their development team has launched a campaign on Indiegogo.com to help raise funds to design, create and distribute the publication’s first issue.

Most children possess a strong desire to learn how the world around them works, but their attention is often diverted to other matters such as schoolwork, playtime and other activities. By offering full-color high-definition photographs and detailed explanations of some of the world’s most widely asked questions, Science Factoreal will provide children with the tools they need to advance their understanding of science in general and inspire them to ask questions about the physical world around them.

Science Factoreal will cover a vast array of science and technology related material and provide an invaluable resource where children can learn answers to fundamental questions such as why the sun rises and sets each day, why and how the seasons change, whether or not animals can communicate with each other, how humans and life itself came to be, as well as many other pertinent topics.

Science Factorial will feature 10 unique sections, all of which will contribute to a fuller and more intimate knowledge of the world. The Facts section offers answers to thousands of basics questions that young minds tend to wonder; the Do It Yourself section will challenge children to develop scientific projects of their own; the Science News section keeps kids up to date about the latest developments in the scientific community; and the Learn to Code section teaches children about coding and programming basics that will help them improve their computer skills and prepare for the future.

Science Factoreal is asking for $38,855 to design the magazine and accompanying posters, implement a website and mobile interface that allows readers to create an account and buy issues online, print 10,000 free issues, and promote friendly scientific competitions among children at live venues.

Aside from the peace of mind that comes from contributing to a worthy cause, donors will be able to receive free magazine issues and subscriptions, support certificates, posters, special edition copies, and even a special thanks in the first issue of Science Factoreal.
