Westbury, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/07/2014 --Randi Glazer got her start as an entrepreneur at a very early age. When Randi was six years old she persuaded her best friends to paint rocks with her and go door to door selling them for .05 each. They didn’t make much money, but Randi gained good marketing and selling skills realizing the worst thing people could say was ‘no, thanks’.

As Randi Glazer got older she honed her marketing talents earning her a gold medal in business during High School. Next, she went on to receive a Bachelors degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo majoring in Economics. Randi’s leadership skills shined brightly while attending college. In her Junior and Senior years she was the President of the Psychology Club, the President of the Economics Club and the Vice Chairperson of the Academics Affairs Committee. During Randi’s senior year she also had a marketing internship at the Canandaigua Wine Company, part of the Constellation Brands, setting up wine tastings for their Manischewitz line of wines.

After graduation Randi Glazer went onto work in various insurance and reinsurance companies within the Insurance industry including Aetna, where she received her initial training, CNA, Chubb, Swiss Re, Wellington Underwriting Inc. and Hiscox USA. With each career move she gained more experience broadening her insurance industry knowledge.

In 2005, Randi Glazer went on to earn her MBA from American Intercontinental University graduating Summa Cum Laude while working full time and traveling internationally with Wellington Underwriting Inc.

Randi Glazer has over 20 years of underwriting and marketing experience. She has underwritten business in the domestic and international arenas for admitted and non-admitted Property, Specialty Property & Inland Marine risks. Randi has in-depth knowledge of underwriting and marketing for insurance and reinsurance carriers with a proven track record of building profitable Portfolios and Programs across multiple industries and product lines for admitted and non-admitted classes of business.

Randi Glazer has also managed people directly, indirectly and remotely. Randi has trained dozens of underwriters over the years based on the initial training she received from her Aetna Skills School training.

In her spare time Randi Glazer enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, reading, traveling and helping others through community service. Randi lives on Long Island, New York with her husband.
