Composer Marco Di Stefano Announces Launch of Crowdsourcing Campaign for the First Touch

Indiegogo push will fund recording and production of composer’s first piano composition albums

New York, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/09/2014 --Marco Di Stefano, a piano composer for sixteen years, announced today the final push for an Indiegogo crowdsourcing campaign to fund the recording and production of his first studio albums. The campaign has only nine days remaining and ends on April 16th.

Di Stefano’s project was founded, rooted, renewed, and continues in Love. Originally inspired by his love for a woman, his compositions soon took on a life of their own and flourished within and through his love for the voice of the piano. Today the love affair continues through the generosity of crowdsourced fans supporting the project, which nears its crescendo.

“My great passion is music composition,” says Di Stefano, “My music is always driven by an image, I really love music that can express concepts and some of my favorite composers are Ennio Morricone, Goffredo Petrassi, Chopin, Debussy and Stravinsky.”

Most recently, Jazz pianist and composer Dario Carnovale joined the project, adding a new dimension to the campaign. Carnovale is renowned in Italy and Japan and his first contribution to the project was to re-record one of Di Stefano’s Tango pieces, which is currently being choreographed by Tango School owners and performers Marisa Van Andel and Oliver Koch.

The Indiegogo campaign’s initial goal of €1,800 is currently active and runs through Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11:59 pm, Pacific Time. Full details about the Indiegogo campaign, including sponsorship and involvement levels can be found at:
