Woburn, MA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/29/2014 --Green Status Pro has announced a partnership with IBM that delivers the power of Green Status Pro’s cloud-based compliance management service platform through the IBM Cloud marketplace. Starting today, IBM clients can try the industry-leading conflict minerals reporting service for free. IBM clients can submit up to 15 EICC-GeSI Conflict Minerals Report Templates (CMRTs) and the service will provide them with critical RCOI (reasonable country of origin inquiry) reports valued at $4,500.

On May 31 each year SEC Filers subject to the conflict minerals reporting requirements of Dodd-Frank Section 1502 must file Form SD. Filers must include a description of their reasonable country of origin inquiry (RCOI) process and findings. The RCOI process requires obtaining EICC-GeSI CMRTs from all suppliers whose products contain gold, tin, tungsten, or tantalum, validate their data, create a Consolidated Smelter Report and then publish the company’s own Conflict Minerals Report.

Green Status Pro’s RCOI Reporting Service reads data from suppliers' EICC-GeSI CMRTs, validates that the data has been correctly submitted, identifies high-risk suppliers and, based on a user-definable rule set, highlights supplier inputs that require validation. It then generates key RCOI reports, including Consolidated Smelter Report, All Reported Smelters Listing, Smelter Compliance Status Report and Aggregated Declarations Report.

“Responsible companies recognize that excellence in conflict minerals reporting can provide a competitive advantage,” declared Rob Kasameyer, president of Green Status Pro. “As the May 31st deadline for the first-time filing of SEC Form SD approaches, executives responsible for Conflict Minerals Reporting are feeling increasing pressure. IBM and Green Status Pro have partnered to provide a solution that is less costly, faster and more accurate than current manual methods.”

The IBM Cloud marketplace offers clients access to more than 100 SaaS applications hosted on the powerful SoftLayer infrastructure-as-a-service and IBM's rich intellectual capital and deep industry expertise. This single online destination with a suite of cloud services delivers a new buying experience for clients that enables line of business professionals to deploy new services faster; allows developers to build them with greater speed; and offers IT departments more creative, efficient and lower-cost ways to deliver these services.
