Magline recommended injury prevention tips for delivery drivers, such as making sure trucks have ramps and mechanical lifting aids, keeping loads close to the body, as well as avoiding twisting the body.

Employers can realize substantial cost increases when an employee is injured on the job. Costs escalate due to worker’s compensation and other costs associated to injuries on the job. Magline recommended employers provide ramps and mechanical aids for all deliveries. This is especially important if employees are not familiar with customer’s facilities.
