Established in 2011, the Third World Church Development Ministries has engaged in numerous charitable activities in addition to encouraging the growth of Christianity in the U.S. and third-world countries. A current project is the purchase of school supplies for needy and at-risk children.

The ministry has been funded, in part, by Smith and its board members. The Indiegogo campaign is designed to significantly expand the ministry’s activities.

“The needs of our organization are far greater than what our current resources can fund,” said Smith. “So we are using social media and the Internet to reach out to people who would like to help children in need. Your contributions will enable us to provide more children with the tools to fulfill their dreams of higher education, preparing them for a successful life.”

Smith is seeking $700,000 for staff salaries, insurance, travel expenses and school supplies for children all over the world.

The Third World Church Development Ministries is a registered is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible. Contributions go to the general operation of Third World Church Development Ministries, with the oversight of the ministry’s board members. Each contributor receives a statement at the end of the tax year.
