Boston, MA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/11/2014 --In Lithuania, dishwashing, as with most other home care categories, recorded positive development driven by recovering purchasing powers, which mostly benefited sales of better quality-products. The general performance of dishwashing is still defined by trends within hand dishwashing, which forms the lion?s share of sales and these products are bought by Lithuanians across the different income groups. Automatic dishwashing was still developing in 2013 and this category represents households with younger families and consumers with above-average incomes. This is the result of the general habit of washing dishes by hand, and the advantages of automatic dishwashers were still underestimated and perceived as non-essential by a significant proportion of Lithuanians.
