Creative and Clever to feature AMG Services and the company’s commitment to inspire the next generation of inventors with a Junior Varsity Invent Team initiative.

Chicago, IL -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/12/2014 --Creative and Clever, a website highlighting creative and clever people from around the globe, will feature an AMG Services-backed high school invention program. AMG Services is committed to inspire the next generation of inventors by supporting a new high school Junior Varsity Invent Team (JVIT) initiative; a program designed to cultivate inventive curiosity and skills in ninth and 10th grade students who traditionally lack access to hands-on enrichment opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The initiative will begin with pilot programs in two states on the East Coast, with plans to extend to the Pacific Northwest by 2015. The JVIT initiatives supported by AMG Services build upon invent teams and MIT’s decade-long experience engaging students in invention education activities. Junior varsity invent teams practice invention-based design activities and apply their learned skills to create useful and unique projects. Students will also learn to present projects at regional capstone events alongside other teams and their varsity counterparts.
