Fenwick Island Seafood Restaurant Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Ropewalk—A Fenwick Oyster House Has One-Year Anniversary Serving Vacationing Families and Local Residents with Fresh Seafood and Free Entertainment in Fenwick Island, Delaware.

Fenwick Island, DE -- (ReleaseWire) -- 06/12/2014 --Fenwick Island’s popular seafood restaurant, Ropewalk—A Fenwick Island Oyster House, celebrates its first anniversary on June 8th.

Ropewalk Fenwick is the culmination of a dream of the McFaul brothers and their friend and business partner, Chris Reda, to open a restaurant in the area in which they and their families all loved to vacation.

Their other restaurant venues are famous Baltimore landmarks including, Ropewalk Tavern Federal Hill, Stalking Horse Vodka Bar, and Delia Foley’s Irish Pub. Ropewalk Fenwick’s success spawned the creation of Main Street Oyster House in Bel Air, Maryland in October of 2013.

The Coastal Highway seafood restaurant opened one year ago on June 8, 2013, to great acceptance, wait-to-be-seated dinner rushes all summer, and popular acclaim. “We want to thank all our first-year patrons and all those who voted for us in the Delmarva Readers Poll,” said General Manager Molly Thomas. “We were awarded a Delmarva Publishing Reader’s Choice Poll Award for the best seafood restaurant in the Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia ocean corridor.”

Ropewalk Fenwick welcomes visitors and local residents to open air dining on two floors, serving upscale fare and free entertainment year round. Dueling pianos is a feature on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings all summer long.

Fresh seafood is their specialty, with an emphasis on their oyster bar, with fresh oysters arriving daily. Their menu reflects the seasons with local ingredients. Chef Frank Campanella calls fish orders in nightly to obtain the freshest catch off the docks.

Parents can relax and dine while watching their kids enjoy the beach playground in sight of the bar, dining tables and upstairs deck.
