It's so safe and quiet that one could fall asleep while using it. It uses a USB connection to recharge. Just like a cell phone, users can recharge their Menopod™ using the provided wall adapter, or any computer or active USB port.

Menopod™ has been awarded the prestigious reddot design award for Medical and Life Sciences in 2014. The award is a validation for all the long hours that have gone into the design and engineering to create a truly unique product.

The production tooling is finished and the company made over 150 working units that are being used for clinical trials and field testing. The first production run of 5000 units has started. Menopod™ is undergoing clinical trials at a Canadian university. Alexander Medical Inc. introduced Menopod™ at the International Menopause Society World Congress in May receiving a fantastic response from medical professionals from all over the world.
