Alexis has combined the sex appeal of the 5” pump with the feel of a sneaker. Users can finally wear heels all day without destroying their feet.

Being a woman, Alexis has worn her fair share of heels; including peep toes, platforms, wedges, short heels, tall heels, and stilettos. After many months of research ripping apart many pairs of heels, she has uncovered the horrible truth behind why so many women suffer on a daily basis. In all of the shoes that she tore apart, there was one constant: the standard 1 mm of cushion that stood between the foot and the wooden insole. Alexis created Pleasant Pumps out of sheer frustration and she developed a product that she would be proud to give anyone.

Alexis has added a non slip fabric and a unique foam cushion to the sole of the shoe that will conform to the foot over time. This will not only provide long lasting comfortable shock resistance, but better traction to keep the toes from being smashed against the front of the heel. She has also incorporated a thin layer of foam into the lining of the counter (the area that supports the Achilles) to ensure the most supreme fit. This will keep the foot from slipping in and out of the heel. Moreover, there is an interior silk lining to keep the heel practically blister proof.

Alexis is looking to be able to share Pleasant Pumps with as many people as possible which mean keeping Pleasant Pumps close to her customers. She wants people to be able to come into her store and tell her their thoughts on things can improve, what things they like, and what Alexis can possibly do to make their heels even better.
