Independent Studio Outfit Signs Harvard Law Graduate Author Joseph Holland

Little Studio Films is happy to announce new author under its wings; they are to represent his works (Harlem Law series and his biopic) for possible film and television adaptations.

Beverly Hills, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 07/28/2014 --Little Studio Films has recently signed author Joseph Holland in its client roster to represent his works for film and television adaptation. Holland's book entitled From Harlem With Love will be first featured, to be followed by his series Harlem Law. Alexia Melocchi, President of Little Studio, thinks signing him up is a natural fit as the Studio already represents two best-selling authors, Luca de Fulvio and Valerio Manfredi, both great Italian writers.

From Harlem with Love

The book talks about the real life of the author Joseph Holland. He was a diplomat's son, became a star athlete and graduated from one of USA's most prestigious higher learning institutions: Harvard Law School.

It also follows his life after graduating from the Ivy League. He had a choice of joining the ranks of many others before him in corporate America given his stature and education but he instead chose to return back to the inner city. The year was 1980, and Joseph considers it one of the lowest points in his life. Harlem, or the heart of America's black culture, embraced him at this tough time.

His sojourn of five years went into decades of commitment for a population who embraced him all while practicing law, empowering the homeless, writing literary pieces about his experience and helping revitalize the glory days of Harlem that was at its greatest in the early 20th century.

The book is part memoir, part cultural and political history of Harlem given the author's legal background and personal history within the confines of the area.

The book retails at $18.00 on paperback and is only $9.99 on Kindle [eBook edition] at Amazon.

“We are thrilled to have him [Joseph Holland] in our client roster as we respect those individuals who pursue higher education and who are active in the betterment of the community,” says Melocchi.

They say that they can't wait to find a producer for the book and to place the HARLEM LAW series into a network anytime this year or early next year.
