Cincinnati, OH -- (ReleaseWire) -- 07/31/2014 --Young Venezuelan international recording artist and soloist Carmine Miranda announced the release of his next classical recording titled Piatti: 12 Caprices For Solo Cello. At a mere twenty five years of age, this release will place Carmine Miranda as the youngest cellist to professionally record and release this repertoire in the world. A joint undertaking between the young cellist and Navona Records has been already featured by Naxos of America, the largest classical music distributor in the world: http://naxosusa.com/2014/carmine-miranda/

Alfredo Piatti (1822-1901) is known for composing one of the most difficult set of pieces for the violoncello. The 12 Caprices is a set recognized for its technical difficulty and complexity, and widely used as developmental exercises for cellists. On his debut with Navona Records, Carmine Miranda interprets Piatti’s virtuosic solo cello pieces, masterfully showing them as works that withstand treatment as significant concert repertoire.

Carmine Miranda’s playing has won the attention of several international and national critics describing his playing as: “Here is a musician of not merely great promise, but of immense musicality and a temperament tempered by a total command of the complexity of the music he plays” and “It’s really difficult to express in words the beauty of Miranda’s performances”.

The music for this upcoming release was brilliantly created and set to be released on October 14, 2014.
