Professional Diploma in Management is now offered through Stafford in KSA and Lebanon. A popular programme of the prominent University of Leicester, it offers key skills in context of career development.

Dubai, AE -- (ReleaseWire) -- 08/03/2014 --Career-oriented professionals in KSA and Lebanon can now enrol for a Professional Diploma in Management, a University of Leicester distance programme offered through Stafford. The programme enables students to learn concepts and their execution in the context of career development, preparing them to join a PG course later.

The programme would suit students from an array of employment and educational backgrounds. It would apprise students of several management theories, techniques and methodologies, encouraging them to execute these on the job and find out how these are implemented. The course would improve the students’ understanding of key tasks and functions of management; assisting them to develop as a professional.

Course structure of the programme includes Foundations of Management; The Management Environment; Strategic Thinking and Implementation; and Accountability and Financial Analysis. Students would then choose any two electives from Marketing Management; Management, People and Organisation; and Quantitative Analysis for Management. Finally, they would need to submit a 6000 word report on a professional management project.

Pursuing the programme, students would gain key skills at financial data analysis and strategy formulation. They are supported by the University of Leicester online portal Blackboard. The course, which can be completed between 12-24 months, has eligibility requirements of three A-levels and GCSEs in Mathematics and English Language, or equivalent international qualification, or adequate professional qualification along with five years’ relevant work experience.

Students can join the programme to prepare for taking up a PG programme later, or enrol in it as a stand-alone qualification.
