Atlanta, GA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/04/2014 -- Leah DeVon is so incredibly excited to be recording new music. Her life is coming full circle and she is grateful for that. God has truly blessed Leah and she is ready to write and sing about it. Leah has decided to record an EP instead of a full-length album. She is doing this because she wants to release a music video for the inspirational first single ‘The Victory Is Mine’, co-written by Michera Clark and herself and featuring a special cast women’s choir.

Leah DeVon has been making waves in the entertainment industry as an indie artist at the helm of her own label, KAZ Records Inc. As an international songstress, Leah has opened for artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire and Chaka Khan to name a few, and was also selected to be a featured performer for The Armed Forces Entertainment. Leah had the wonderful privilege of touring overseas to perform for our men and women in uniform. Leah has completed projects with industry greats such as legendary Grammy nominated music producer, Kashif (Whitney Houston, Kenny G, Mariah Carey), and even recorded with hit makers Full Force (Lisa, Lisa, Ashanti, James Brown, LFO). After a very successful tenure in the industry, Leah took a break to refocus and realign and now she re-emerges with a re-launch of Leah DeVon Music.

All of the songs on this EP are positive, uplifting, and encouraging. Leah believes that music is one of the most influential teachers of all. Positive music can impact someone’s life in a powerful way. Three of the songs are written and ready to be recorded. Leah is thrilled to have the Kickstarter platform to introduce herself and her music to the people.
