Knoxville, TN -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/17/2014 -- DigiTrax Entertainment, innovators behind Karaoke Cloud and Sing-N-Share, celebrated the grand opening of their new SoKnox Studios in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, April 8. Live performances by gold and platinum, triple-Emmy-nominated songwriter/producer Mark Radice and local fusion-rock band Sensible Madness marked the occasion, along with a featured art exhibit focusing on Knoxville People and Places as seen through the eyes of local artists Brian Murray and Brian Wagner. Also in attendance were Knox County Mayor, Tim Burchett along with many other county representatives, local business owners, and musicians from around the East Tennessee area.
"We're extremely excited about the opening of our new facilities," stated Cathy Vangieri, DigiTrax Entertainment Project Manager and wife of CEO Joseph Vangieri, "but we are just as elated to be a part of the revitalization occurring in the South Knoxville area. It's a wonderful place to 'set up shop' so to speak, and we hope to see an influx of community and business leaders put forth their imaginations and energy toward its redevelopment."
DigiTrax Entertainment is a major proponent of the South Knoxville Foundation, which emphasises and encourages revitalization, innovation, and cooperation in an effort to "redefine South Knoxville." The organization considers the area to be a "diamond in the rough" and fervently advocates its potential.
SoKnox Studios, located on Chapman Hwy in South Knoxville, specializes in the creation and recording of music and animation for television, film, commercials, games, apps, and radio spots.
