Campbell Law Professor, Alumnae Named 2011 Triangle Women Extraordinaire Honorees

Professor Lisa Lukasik, Beth Jones, Judge Kristin Ruth Among Triangle Business and Civic Leaders Honored at Luncheon

 

Raleigh, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/09/2011 -- Melissa Essary, dean of the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law (http://law.campbell.edu), has announced that the school’s Professor Lisa Lukasik and alumnae Beth Jones and Judge Kristin Ruth were among more than 50 business and civic leaders honored at the 2011 Triangle Women Extraordinaire awards luncheon held Dec. 6 at the Brier Creek Country Club.

Each year, Business Leader honors the top women leaders of the South through its Women Extraordinaire awards. Award winners must be an influential leader within her company or business, with an extraordinary impact on its economic success and forward-thinking strategies. Professor Lukasik has served as an assistant professor of law at Campbell for more than two years, and is a seasoned litigator with a decade of experience representing local boards of education. Beth Jones is a 1988 graduate of Campbell Law School and practices employment and education law with Womble Carlyle in Raleigh. Judge Ruth is a 1990 graduate of Campbell Law School and serves as state district court judge for Wake County.
