Dubai, Abu Dhabi -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/28/2012 -- Western International College (WINC) was upgraded to an "A" Grade training centre for BTEC in both Business & Engineering, by Edexcel International. WINC Campus conducts the BTEC Foundation study programme, and after successful completion the students gain entry in to the BA (Hons) Business Management & the B.Eng (Hons) Engineering
External verifiers from Edexcel International, UK, make bi-annual visits to the WINC Campus, in order to assess the Centre and verify the quality of the programme. Following the last review, the WINC Campus was declared to be an "A" Grade centre in both areas Business & Engineering, a reflection on the hard work done by all staff at the campus.
One of the main factors that contributed towards this was WINC's panel of lecturers, who are qualified engineers & business professionals, possessing the required industrial experience in addition to having received training both locally and abroad.
The WINC campus is equipped with laboratory facilities, internet access and library facilities which are constantly being improved and upgraded to reflect the rapid changes in ICT and the business environment. Students are also provided with first class recreational facilities and sports.
