Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/19/2012 -- South Hills Chrysler Jeep Kia is proud to announce their participation in Chrysler’s Drive for the Kids and their support of local schools. On Saturday April 21, 2012, South Hills CJK, in partnership with Drive for the Kids, will join with Central Christian Academy for a fundraiser in support of the PTA Linda Powell Memorial Auction.

During the auction, everyone who test drives a new 2012 Chrysler Town & Country will receive a $10 donation for Central Christian Academy from Chrysler. South Hills CJK will provide the minivans and insurance for the event, and volunteers from the dealership will be on hand to help out with the fundraising test drives.

“We love working with schools and really enjoy the opportunity to support the kids and showcase our product,” said Kate Schoedel, Marketing Director of South Hills Chrysler Jeep Kia. “This year we are especially excited to show off the new, world class interior of the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country along with more than 40 standard safety, security and technology features.”

Stop by the PTA Linda Powell Memorial Auction on April 21st from 9-2pm to join in the fun. Licensed drivers, age 18 or older, may participate and earn a $10 donation for Central Christian Academy. There is no limit to the number of drives or Chrysler’s contribution.

In 1993 Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators in communities across the nation, and Chrysler has contributed an estimated $3.5 million to schools located in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
