Chicago, IL -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/01/2012 -- The Rogers Park Business Alliance (RPBA), a Chicago neighborhood organization whose mission is to improve Rogers Park through business, community and economic development activities, has launched the Rogers Park App aimed at promoting Rogers Park businesses. BestMassage is one of the 132 businesses currently listed in the app’s directory.

“This is a wonderful way to increase our presence in the local community,” reveals Amona Buechler, owner of BestMassage. “We are excited to get involved in the neighborhood’s effort to buy local and promote local businesses.” BestMassage has been part of the Rogers Park community since the massage table supplier’s inception—over eleven years ago.

The RPBA will promote the app’s launch with advertisements at various El stations around the Rogers Park neighborhood. The free app is also heavily marketed on the social networking sites, Twitter and Facebook. The Rogers Park app, which is available for both the iPhone and the Android, features a business directory, local promotions, a loyalty card service, store directions, live updates from merchants, and a feature that adds events directly to a user’s phone calendar.

Currently, BestMassage is offering two perks on the Rogers Park App—20% off an in-store purchase of the Versatile Compact Portable Massage table and 20% off an in-store purchase of the Multipurpose Spa Shelf Package. “These in-store perks will increase business in our storefront as well as drive business to our neighbors’ storefronts,” asserts Buechler. “Our promotions will change consistently so that will encourage more business to the store throughout the years.”
