Eugene A. Preston Joins Institute St. Onge

New Managing Director Responsible for Institute’s Investment Advisory and Fund Management

 

York, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/08/2009 -- Institute St. Onge announced today that Eugene A. Preston has joined the Institute as managing director responsible for the Institute’s real estate investment advisory and fund management practices.

Institute St. Onge is a supply chain infrastructure advisory and investment firm. It focuses on investment advisory service, fund management, venture capital, applied research planning, technology transfer and education.

A new component to the Institute's advisory mission and one that will involve Preston is expanding the pool of potential clients that extends beyond the financial community. The Institute will now also offer its advisory services to include investment funds, owners of large land tracts, institutions and corporations interested in investing in supply chain infrastructures.

Preston brings more than 30 years of real estate development experience to the Institute. He was a former senior vice president at ProLogis, where he directed industrial development, redevelopment and acquisition activities for the company’s northeastern region. He also served previously with Higgins Development Partners LLC and Rockefeller Group Development Corp.

He holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from West Virginia State University and a masters in business administration from New York University.

Preston is the vice president of the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, a leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and mix-use real estate. He also serves as a trustee for the Patriot Path Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
